Duncan Robinson is on fire in NBA Finals, and he’s letting his opponents know about it.
The Miami Heat appeared headed toward another loss in the 2023 NBA Finals as the fourth quarter of Game 2 began. Miami was down eight points on the road against the Denver Nuggets, a place where no road team had won so far in these playoffs.
But in the fourth quarter, Duncan Robinson seemed to decide that the Heat would not lose this game. For most of the playoffs, the Heat’s savior has been Jimmy Butler, their boisterous star guard, who averaged 37.

The dog days of college football are in full swing, which leads us to the heart of “talking season.” And one of the best traditions of “talking season” comes with the release of Athlon Sports’ college football magazine.
Within the pages of the fabled magazine is a section in which coaches speak anonymously about other conference programs. It never fails to provide some juicy drama.
Although there have been spicier comments in the past, the 2023 edition is no exception. Especially when it comes to Rutgers and head coach Greg Schiano.
Air quality has reached dangerous levels across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic as a smoky haze has engulfed the two regions of the United States due to the ongoing wildfire disaster in eastern Canada.
The air quality is so poor in parts of the Northeast that baseball games on Wednesday night are at risk of postponement. The Yankees are set to host the White Sox at 7:05 p.m. ET, but scenes coming out of Yankee Stadium on Wednesday afternoon have cast doubt on whether or not the game will be played.

Yankee Stadium looks like a terrifying movie scene with wildfire smoke from Canada infiltrating the New York air.
As smoke from wildfires in Canada continues to swoop into the United States, New York City and other states along the East Coast are seeing air quality deteriorate and the skies continue to darken.
That remains the scene at Yankee Stadium. The New York Yankees are set to take on the Chicago White Sox Wednesday night in the second game of a three-game series.
Hilinski’s Hope, created in honor of late Washington State QB Tyler Hilinski, has blossomed into a nationwide push for mental health awareness among student-athletes.
New York Mets outfielder Jeff McNeil found himself in the middle of a brutal, one-man comedy of errors on Tuesday night.
The Mets were on the road visiting the Atlanta Braves when in the eighth inning Braves left fielder Eddie Rosario sent Mets pitcher Adam Ottavino’s 1-2 pitch to left field.
McNeil fielded the high fly ball off the Truist Park wall. He first tried to barehand the ball but couldn’t get a grasp on it. He used his glove the next time, only he muffed the exchange to his throwing hand.
That’s less than ideal, but it happens.
Wednesday’s game between the Pirates and A’s marked the last time this season the two sides would play each other. So, naturally, it was the perfect time for a good old fashion standoff.
As the national anthem concluded and it was time for both sides to return to their dugouts and start the game, a handful of players remained rooted. It’s a scene that’s become somewhat commonplace throughout the marathon of a baseball season. But this time, the host Pirates got a little help from an old friend: the Pirate Parrot.
Remember last week, when we said Thor has lost his hammer?
Remember also last week when we said Elly De La Cruz was a must-add on the waiver wire?
Well, guess what? Today the two meet up, and you better believe we’re going to bet on it.
Here’s our first bet:
Dodgers-Reds over 11 runs (-120)
Why? Well, quite simply, even Noah Syndergaard has said he wishes he were his former self.
The world of professional golf has been flipped upside down with the merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf. While the game of golf itself (hopefully) remains the same, many changes are inevitably on the horizon, and one may be Greg Norman losing his seat at the table.
Norman was named the CEO of LIV ahead of its inaugural tournament in 2022. While he was incredibly vocal with his opinions about the state of the professional game a year ago, he’s taken a more hands-offish approach in 2023.

The third-ranked golfer in the world and the face of the PGA Tour had an entertaining press conference ahead of the RBC Canadian Open.
Rory McIlroy has never had any interest in the Saudi-backed LIV Golf.
Nor did LIV Golf have any interest in him, according to McIlroy.
“I was never offered any money [from LIV],” McIlroy said. “All I’ve tried to do is protect what the PGA TOUR is and what the PGA TOUR stands for.”
It’s no surprise that McIlroy had no interest, but many believed he turned down a massive nine-figure offer.
