The Kansas City wide receiver posted a brutal Valentine’s Day message with a photo of Philadelphia’s cornerback, captioned, “I’ll hold you when it matters most.”
Bradberry, of course, was responsible for Philadelphia’s defensive holding penalty in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl.

As thrilling as Super Bowl LVII was, it was not without controversy. The playing surface has received a lot of attention in the days following the game, as has a holding penalty on Philadelphia Eagles cornerback James Bradberry called in the closing minutes. That penalty gave the Kansas City Chiefs a fresh set of downs deep in Eagles’ territory with under two minutes remaining, setting the stage for the game-winning field goal and the modest upset.

With the Pro Bowl quarterback declining to waive his no-trade clause, the Raiders released Carr on Tuesday before his $32.9 million salary for the 2023 season would have become fully guaranteed. The Raiders would have also been on the hook for $7.5 million of Carr’s ’24 salary if he was on the roster past the deadline.
