Phoenix reportedly is loading up for the stretch run.
The Suns plan to sign veteran guard Terrence Ross after he finalizes a contract buyout with the Magic, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports. 
Phoenix was among a few franchises, including the Mavericks, that had expressed interest in Ross after Wojnarowski first reported that the 32-year-old was seeking a buyout from Orlando. Wojnarowski went as far as to call Dallas the “frontrunner” to land Ross, but Suns owner Mat Ishbia and coach Monty Williams reportedly made a push for the veteran Saturday and were successful.

It would appear that the Eagles and Colts have a thing for each other’s coordinators. Indianapolis is reportedly set to continue a unique trend between the two teams with its next head coaching hire.
According to Adam Schefter, the Colts have “targeted Eagles’ offensive coordinator Shane Steichen to be their next head coach after informing other remaining candidates this morning that they are moving in a different direction.” The two sides have yet to reach an agreement, but are hopeful to do so after Super Bowl LVII.

The assistant will follow head coach DeMeco Ryans to Houston.
The Texans are expected to hire 49ers offensive assistant Bobby Slowik as their next offensive coordinator, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports. Slowik spent last season as the 49ers’ pass game specialist.
Slowik and new Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans have coached together as assistants in San Francisco for the past six years. Both Slowik and Ryans began as defensive quality control coaches, with Slowik later switching to offense while Ryans worked his way up the defensive staff.

Sean Payton has started to put together his staff with the Broncos, and he’s eyeing an intriguing candidate for one of the team’s top roles: Rex Ryan.
Jay Glazer reported Sunday morning that Payton recently interviewed Ryan to be Denver’s defensive coordinator.
Ryan has been out of the NFL’s coaching ranks since 2016, when he served as the head coach of the Bills. He’s since gone on to become an analyst at ESPN, making regular appearances on Sunday NFL Countdown.

The former Cardinals head coach was let go after the regular season in which they posted just four wins.
Kingsbury was in Space City to interview for the offensive coordinator opening on head coach DeMeco Ryans’ staff. However, according to Tom Pelissero, the Texans have gone another direction and tapped Bobby Slowik as their new OC.

The Colts have targeted Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen to be the franchise’s next head coach, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday morning. 
Indianapolis has informed other candidates for the job that the club is planning to move forward with Steichen, per Schefter, as the Philadelphia assistant prepares for Super Bowl LVII on Sunday evening.
