The veteran coach has a temporary job before officially joining Miami this week.
In an attempt to get as much intel on the Chiefs as possible, the Eagles have enlisted help from a key outside figure. Philadelphia signed former Broncos head coach Vic Fangio to a two-week contract as a consultant after the NFC championship game, per multiple reports.
Fangio, who will become the Dolphins‘ defensive coordinator starting Monday, spent three seasons playing the Chiefs in the AFC West as Denver’s head coach.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Commanders “will probably part ways” with the veteran quarterback after coach Ron Rivera indicated that the team plans to move forward with 2022 draft pick Sam Howell under center at the start of training camp.
“The biggest thing we decided is he will start out as QB1,” Rivera said of Howell recently.
Vic Fangio will be the defensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins next season, but he’s been busy for the last two weeks helping out the Philadelphia Eagles.
ESPN is reporting that after the NFC championship game, the Eagles signed a two-week deal with Fangio to help the team prepare for Super Bowl LVII. Fangio was brought in to help gain some insight into the Kansas City Chiefs‘ defense which he faced multiple times during his time as the head coach of the Denver Broncos from 2019-21.
The Birds were reportedly in touch with Fangio about taking on a consulting role earlier this season.

In the third period of what would become a 6-0 loss to the Kings, Crosby was given a game misconduct penalty, resulting in an ejection from the for the first time in his career. Crosby and Kings defenseman Mikey Anderson were battling in front of the net, and Anderson cross-checked Crosby, which led to a Penguins power play.

The star quarterback played the final two months of the season with the ailment.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen played through a serious elbow injury during the second half of the season, but he won’t need surgery and is expected to make a full recovery, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports. The injury is reportedly a partially torn UCL along with related tendon and muscle injuries.
Allen first suffered the injury in the Bills’ Week 9 loss to the Jets.
