All the points — the 3s, the dunks and all those and-1s — are an outgrowth of James’ desire to make the most out of a career he has nurtured with great care.

On his record-breaking night, James captivated the basketball world’s attention yet again.
From the moment LeBron James arrived at the Lakers’ downtown Los Angeles arena in a crisp, all-black suit on Tuesday, there were giddy murmurs in the bowels of the stadium. Is tonight the night? Will LeBron try to end this tonight? Will he really go for it? James even took a little longer than usual to come out for his pregame warmup.
Super Bowl LVII kicks off on Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles vie for their second world championships of the 2000s. While both sides are stacked with talent, both organizations have their own individual ways to build a roster.
In addition, each player comes from their own unique background. Some of them were highly-recruited out of high school, others had to take a different path to the league.
Somewhere along the line, NBA discourse forgot about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as debates over the Greatest Of All Time shifted to Michael Jordan and LeBron James.
Chase Wolf has reportedly left the Wisconsin Badgers.
Wolf initially planned on returning to the Badgers after starting in the bowl game against Oklahoma State for what would have been his sixth year in Madison.
However, the athletic QB has decided to leave, according to The Athletic. The report claims Wolf was initially told he would be able to compete for the starting job, but after being told by OC Phil Longo that Tanner Mordecai would start (the writing has been on the wall for that), he decided to leave the team.
Chase Wolf reportedly is no longer with the Wisconsin Badgers.
Nobody played any defense in our ‘Madden’ Super Bowl.
We’re deep into Super Bowl week and everyone is trying to work out who is going to win. Truth is, nobody knows, especially not Madden 23 — but I had to sim it anyway.
There’s something special about doing a full 15 minute simulation of a football game and watching intently. You pass the uncanny valley and hit the sublime. You start knowing this is a game, then it starts to feel real, before you quickly realize that there is no way anything you’re seeing could actually happen in an NFL game.
A look back at a Disney almost-classic, starring Danza, with help from a future NFL kicker and a cameo from the Eagles’ new owner.
Screenwriter Tim Kelleher sat down at the Hollywood headquarters of what was then—in the mid-1990s—TriStar Pictures. A group of studio suits were there, serving up a half-baked pitch for an underdog sports tale. “They wanted to do a movie with Billy Crystal and the NBA,” Kelleher says.
24 of the 53 Chiefs players in this year’s AFC Championship Game were not on the roster that lost to the Chiefs a year earlier. How did the Chiefs rebuild on the fly? Peter Schrager tells you.
Colin Cowherd apparently had the chance to jump into politics, but refused to do so.
The Fox Sports star has made a name for himself being one of the most popular sports pundits in the country, and he’s also banked a ton of money along the way.
Given his natural TV talent, it’s not hard to understand why political offers might come his way. Apparently, he’s turned down at least two chances to join a political network.

Colin Cowherd says no to politics.
Davis didn’t seem all that impressed or happy.
LeBron James made NBA history Tuesday night as his fadeaway jump shot in the closing seconds of the third quarter made him the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, breaking a record that former Laker great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar held for nearly 39 years.
There was a big celebration on the court after the shot fell through the hoop and LeBron closed out the party by dropping a very clear F-bomb on live TV before the game between the Thunder and Lakers restarted.
