Lanny Poffo, a former wrestling star also known as the brother of legend “Macho Man” Randy Savage, died this week at the age of 68, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Duggan announced Thursday. The cause of death is unknown at this time.
Poffo, who gained notoriety in then-WWF in the late 1980s as Mr. Perfect’s manager “The Genius,” is the younger brother of Savage, whose real name was Randall Poffo. Savage died in 2011 at the age of 58.

Carr had the most points for the QBs in Las Vegas’ facility
The NFL’s newest attempt at drawing interest to the Pro Bowl has been dubbed the Pro Bowl Games. The new games kicked off in Las Vegas with quarterbacks throwing at targets, some of which were moving including one hanging from a moving drone.
The NFC team was represented by quarterbacks Kirk Cousins, Geno Smith and Jared Goff while the AFC squad had Trevor Lawrence, Tyler Huntley and Derek Carr.

This year’s All-Star Game will tip off in Salt Lake City on Feb. 19.
A week after unveiling this year’s All-Star Game starters, the full rosters have finally been revealed.
The seven reserves for the Eastern and Western Conferences were announced on Thursday, with a strong mix of establish veterans and first-time All-Stars. The teams will be divvied up by All-Star starters and captains LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who will pick sides on the night of the All-Star Game on Feb. 19.

Former NFL tight end Kellen Winslow, Jr. is seeking a reduced jail sentence, citing CTE as a reason for his wrongdoings under a new California law, Assembly Bill 124.
The 39-year-old Winslow received a 14-year sentencing in 2019 after pleading guilty to charges of rape, indecent exposure, and lewd contact involving five different women.
