Sometimes hard work, and a little bit of attention grabbing pays off in college football recruiting. This was certainly the case for OL prospect Bear McWhorter, who has committed to Sam Pittman and Arkansas.
It was two years ago that the family of Bear McWhorter wanted to make it be known that their son wanted to be a Razorback. The offensive lineman was only 13-years old at the time, but he knew which coach he wanted to play for.
After meeting Pittman at a football camp, Bear had already decided he wanted to spend his college years at Arkansas.

49ers star defensive end Nick Bosa has yet to sign an extension as the regular season draws closer and closer. The reigning defensive player of the year is currently holding out and has been away from the team during training camp, but ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler is under the impression that will all be coming to an end soon. 
“A little bit more optimism here with his contract with the 49ers because teams I’ve talked to expect him to put up a massive number, somewhere in that $30M+ per year,” Fowler said Sunday while on SportsCenter, according to Bleacher Report.

Early in the Rams’ second preseason game, against the Raiders, wide receiver Ben Skowronek motioned from the right side of the formation to the left. At the moment he was behind the quarterback, the ball was snapped and Skowronek faked the reception of a jet sweep toss. The ball was handed off to running back Ronnie Rivers, who started running left, then cut back to the right side from which Skowronek originally came. He gained nine yards.
In terms of the weapons in the Rams’ arsenal, this was the equivalent of a peashooter.
