As the NFL continues to await Odell Beckham Jr.’s free-agent decision, the coveted wide receiver is reportedly set to travel for an upcoming meeting with a team rumored to be the frontrunner for his services.
Beckham, 30, plans to fly to the New York on Sunday for a meeting with the Jets on Monday, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reported Saturday. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport later reported OBJ’s long-awaited visit with the club will be “multi-faceted,” noting the trip will include a physical for the star wideout, who is continuing to work his way back from a torn ACL.

United States women’s national team forward Mallory Swanson was stretchered off the pitch after appearing to suffer a serious leg injury late in the first half of an World Cup tune-up match against Ireland.
Just before the halftime whistle blew, Swanson went to the ground after a challenge from Irish defender Aoife Mannion. The 24-year-old immediately grabbed for her left knee and signaled to the sideline for attention. 
Training staff personnel and even USWNT manager Vlatko Andonovski came out onto the pitch to tend to and speak with Swanson.

The NBA announced it is investigating the Mavericks after Dallas sat many of its top players in Friday night’s game vs. the Bulls.
“The NBA commenced an investigation today into the facts and circumstances surrounding the Dallas Mavericks’ roster decisions and game conduct with respect to last night’s Chicago Bulls-Mavericks game, including the motivations behind those actions,” NBA spokesman Mike Bass said in a statement, via ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.
Dallas sat several key players vs. Chicago, including Kyrie Irving, Tim Hardaway Jr., Maxi Kleber and Christian Wood.

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby had a three-point game to reach the 1,500-point mark, something only 14 other players have done in NHL history.
Crosby hit the milestone on Saturday afternoon on the road against the Detroit Red Wings.
Sid was sitting on point No. 1,499 having scored in the first period and assisted on Danton Heinen’s second-period tally.

He’ll join his older brother, Devils star Jack Hughes, for a 1-2 punch of Hughes-ness for the last week of the regular season and then the playoffs.

Erling Haaland continued his extraordinary first season in the Premier League on Saturday, notching his 30th league goal of the season in Manchester City’s 4–1 victory against Southampton.
Haaland’s record-setting goal happened during the 68th minute of the match. Man City’s Jack Grealish cut inside and dinked a cross over to Haaland, who completed an acrobatic overhead kick just past goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu, giving Manchester City a 3–0 advantage.
