LIV Golf’s Cameron Smith called claims that he doesn’t play “real golf” anymore “B.S.”
Smith spoke to reporters about critics on Thursday ahead of LIV’s stop in Orlando. It’s a good time to do it too. He’ll be one of 18 LIV golfers traveling to Augusta National Golf Club to compete at the 2023 Masters.
“Obviously, first and foremost for me, I’m trying to go there and play the best golf I can,” Smith said, per ESPN. “I think it is important for us to go there, really show a high standard of golf, which we know we’re all capable of.

Among the celebrated announcer’s trademark calls include: “A little kiss” and “A nickel-and-dimer.”

It sure seems like the league is pretty jazzed about how things went on Thursday. Those are statistics from the league’s MLB.TV platform, which would’ve probably seen a jump in total minutes based solely on there being more baseball to watch.

Michigan State coach Tom Izzo made clear that he does not support immediate eligibility for athletes transferring for a second time and that he also does not trust the NCAA’s plan to restrict immediate eligibility exceptions made for two-time transfers.
Under the NCAA’s new rule from earlier this year, players who transfer for a second time will not be permitted a waiver and must sit for a season if they transfer for reasons that include a coaching change or reduced playing time.
