Here we are on the third day of NFL free agency and the fifth day since teams began negotiating contracts with available players, and dynamic wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is unsigned in a year wide receivers are at a premium.
Stunning?
Not if you ask multiple NFL teams.
Beckham is easily the most accomplished receiver remaining in free agency. Not many still on the market come with five 1,000-yard seasons and a career 13.9 yards per catch average.
But Beckham is also a gamble because he tore his ACL in the 2020 season and again at the end of the 2021 season.

Despite the menu changing each year as requested by the defending champion, it’s safe to say that there has never been a bad meal served during the Masters’ champions dinner. Augusta National is one of the most exclusive, classiest establishments in the world. The club is serving up five-star cuisine, but Bubba Watson isn’t exactly a fan, at least not every year.
Watson, who won the Masters in both 2012 and 2014, revealed his secret about the champions dinner ahead of this week’s LIV Golf event in Tuscon.

Shohei Ohtani is one of the coolest baseball players to ever play the game and all of his incredible skills have been on full display at the World Baseball Classic. He has led Japan to a trip to the semifinals where they will face either Puerto Rico or Mexico in Miami.
Ohtani picked up the win on the mound in Japan’s quarterfinal victory over Italy on Thursday and he also reached base on a bunt and scored two runs. Just another typical game for the Angels star who can really do it all.
The former All-Pro wide receiver has been a rumored target amid the Aaron Rodgers trade saga.
A Giants reunion with Odell Beckham Jr. looks unlikely after the team’s recent acquisitions at the wide receiver position, but New York’s other team is in contact with the two-time All-Pro as he looks to return to football after a year away due to injury.
ESPN’s Dianna Russini reports that the Jets are “interested and staying in touch” with Beckham’s team as he weighs options ahead of the 2023 season.

NFL free agency’s 4 biggest winners, 3 biggest losers, and 1 team we can’t figure out.
As we close out the first week of NFL Free Agency we’re starting to get a decent idea of how teams will look entering the draft. Plenty of good players remain available and will continue to be signed in the coming weeks, but we’ve more or less seen the biggest dominos fall.
Arizona State has apparently not been in contact with the Big 12.
Many in the world of college sports are waiting to see how everything shakes out with the PAC-12 and a potential new media deal.
For the first time in a long time, it looks like the PAC-12 is nearing stable ground. No deal is done, but the choppy waters seem to be calming.
Now, ASU president Michael Crow has claimed the Sun Devils haven’t had talks with the Big 12 about leaving. There had been a previous report that contact was underway between Brett Yormark’s conference and multiple PAC-12 teams.
Never has an untied shoe drawn as many cheers as the laces upon 7-foot-5 Connor Vanover’s foot.
Oral Roberts’ big man is nothing short (pun intended) of a giant. As OutKick’s Grayson Weir detailed earlier this week, Vanover is the tallest player in the NCAA Tournament. Well, he was the tallest player. Oral Roberts lost their opening round game to Duke on Thursday.
And though the Golden Eagles struggled to accumulate any highlights, Vanover delivered a crowd-pleasing moment just minutes into the game.
The game was tied, but Vanover’s shoe was not.
The left tackle has started in 32 games over the past two years.
Bengals offensive tackle Jonah Williams has requested a trade after the team reportedly signed free agent tackle Orlando Brown Jr.,NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.
Williams was the Bengals’ first round pick in the 2019 draft, and he is set to enter the fifth and final year of his rookie contract.
Anyone who follows the NBA just a little bit shouldn’t be surprised to hear that Draymond Green is suspended. The Golden State Warriors forward is known for his carefree, do as I want, chaotic and aggressive behavior on the court. Many times it’s act first, think about it later.
“So, what’d he do now?”
Well, he threw a basketball at Russell Westbrook’s head during a fit of rage on Wednesday night’s game.
“Oh.
The veteran started five games for Dallas last year.
The Cowboys are re-signing quarterback Cooper Rush on a two-year deal that can be worth up to $6 million total, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.
Rush was initially an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan, and signed with the Cowboys right after the 2017 NFL draft. He has played for Dallas for the last five seasons, outside of a brief stint with the Giants in 2020 before returning to Dallas.
In the last two seasons, Rush has served as the backup for quarterback Dak Prescott.
