Sam Houston State and Oklahoma State basketball are two of the top four seeds in the NIT. As such, they are given the opportunity to host every game at their home gyms until the Final Four, which will be played away from Madison Square Garden for the first time.
However, neither the Bearkats nor the Cowboys will host their First Round games in 2023. They both have scheduling conflicts that prevent them from playing at home.
Instead, both schools will be significant betting favorites on the road, which is not typically the case.

Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant has entered a counseling program during his time away from the team, following a spree of troubling actions and headlines regarding the 23-year-old star.
ESPN’s Tim McMahon and Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news of Morant’s decision to undergo counseling at a facility in Florida.
Leading up to the announcement, Morant kept trending in the NBA circles for all the wrong reasons. Morant’s recent controversies first appeared in early February and have continued to pester the Grizzlies more than a month later.

Memphis’ star guard remains without a timetable to return.
Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant has reportedly entered a counseling program and remains without a timetable for his return to the team, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The counseling program is located in Florida. 
Based on the Grizzlies’ initial timetable for Morant, his first chance to return to action following his absence from the team would have come Friday against the Spurs. Following this latest update, it’s unclear when he will return to action.

Barkley, who chose to play his college basketball at Auburn instead of other in-state schools he liked more, grew up in the town of Leeds, Alabama. As of 2020, the population of the city was just over 12,000.
