Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley was apparently never sweating his job security.
The Chargers opted to keep Staley after a disappointing first round exit from the playoffs, but OC Joe Lombardi was kicked to the curb. It’s more than fair to wonder whether or not Staley ever worried about his future with the franchise.
Apparently, the answer is not one bit.

The Giants have been underdogs all season, so how can they beat the mighty Eagles? We break down the keys to Saturday’s game.
Michael Vick was among a number of celebrities in attendance for the Virginia Tech-Virginia game on Wednesday night. The former NFL QB was sitting in the front row to watch his Hokies, which ESPN made note of during the broadcast, but then proceeded to make a hilarious mistake with its graphic.
While ESPN was prepared with a graphic for Vick and a note about his time as a Virginia Tech quarterback, the network put the graphic underneath a shot of Dick Bennett, the father of Tony Bennett, the Virginia head coach.
The blunder made for a funny and viral moment during the game.

The Bengals are hurt along the offensive line, but here is why that might not matter
Stop me if you have heard this tale before.
The Cincinnati Bengals are advancing in the playoffs, but they face questions over just how far they can go, due to struggles on the offensive line and whether they can protect quarterback Joe Burrow.
Last year, those struggles were evident in the Bengals’ Divisional Round victory over the Tennessee Titans. Despite the win, Burrow was sacked nine times, a playoff record.
The Eagles vs. Doug Pederson or Andy Reid. Stefon Diggs vs. his brother. A Chiefs-49ers rematch or Cowboys vs. Bills for a third time. All are great options.
We are two rounds of playoff games away from Super Bowl LVII in Arizona, and it’s certainly not too early to dream about the matchup—especially if you’re a fan of one of the eight teams still alive.
The NFL calls this weekend’s win-or-go-home games its Divisional Playoffs. From the looks of the teams it should be called something else.
The overcomers tournament.
Bracket of improbables.
The how-are-these-teams-here postseason.
We need a new name for the looming weekend of games because among the eight teams still alive and nurturing Super Bowl hopes are five that, well, have significant cause for not being here at all.
Those five suffered issues that typically crash seasons. All have reasons for failure they could have used as excuses.
And yet, here they are.
Still playing.
Even with just two games, there’s a good mix of top-tier, mid-tier and bargain players to choose from.
Saturday’s NFL DFS slate has only two games, but there are still plenty of ways to build a winning lineup.
The first of Saturday’s two matchups features the fourth-seeded Jacksonville Jaguars vs. the top-seeded Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC divisional playoffs. They will meet up at Arrowhead in a game with the highest expected total of the week according to SI Sportsbook.
The Bills, Titans, Jaguars, Chiefs and Patriots will each play international games during the NFL’s 2023 regular season.

Lincoln Riley vs. Coach Prime? Ducks vs. Huskies in Seattle? Those are two of the best matchups on the Pac-12 schedule.
