Since the Colts put Jonathan Taylor on the physically unable to perform list Tuesday, Indianapolis general manager Chris Ballard was asked how this ongoing situation with their star running back will affect the team dynamic.
Specifically, people are wondering if Taylor’s situation will hinder rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson’s growth at all. Ballard gave quite the interesting answer—to say the least—to that question, and fans aren’t too happy with the response.
“Look, when you don’t have a great player… but, I don’t think it stunts his growth.
Novak Djokovic suffered a heavy fall in his otherwise routine win over Spanish No.5 Bernabe Zapata Miralles. Having dived like a goalkeeper to reach a wide ball, he spent a worrying moment curled up in a foetal position with his forehead pressed to the court.
Aaron Rodgers and the Jets are feeling high and mighty, but will their hubris come back to bite them in the season?
There’s a noticeable upgraded swagger to the New York Jets this offseason after acquiring Rodgers in a trade with the Green Bay Packers.
The Jets face Super Bowl-level expectations, and they’re certainly acting like they’ve got a shot.
In the penultimate episode of this offseason’s “Hard Knocks,” Rodgers showed off some of the Jets’ new attitude during their preseason game against the New York Giants.

The 2023 Tour Championship was seen by millions, despite Viktor Hovland’s runaway victory at East Lake.
Even though Viktor Hovland did not let Xander Schauffele get any closer than three strokes on Sunday, his Tour Championship victory produced staggering numbers for CBS.
In a memo distributed Tuesday, CBS Sports announced that its final round coverage of the 2023 Tour Championship averaged 4.613 million viewers.
Colts general manager Chris Ballard told reporters on Wednesday that he is not happy about the ongoing quarrel between the franchise and Jonathan Taylor.
Taylor was not present during the Colts’ practice earlier Wednesday nor did he come to the team’s facility. His absence comes a day after the franchise decided to keep him on the physically unable to perform list, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Taylor’s status—for now—indicates that he will miss the Colts first four games of the regular season, which include clashes against the Jaguars, Texans, Ravens and Rams.
Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard said Wednesday “of course” there are scenarios in which Jonathan Taylor will play for the team again but admitted it’s going to take a lot of work to repair a fractured relationship.
“We’ll keep working through it,” Ballard said.
But after the Colts declined to give Taylor a contract extension he would sign, Taylor requested to be traded, both sides made strong statements about each other, and Taylor was on the trade block the past week, the situation seems dire now.
“The situation sucks,” Ballard admitted.
