Trea Turner’s stellar second half of the season continued on Tuesday when he tied the game for the Phillies in the ninth inning with an electric solo home run off Braves’ Raisel Iglesias.
While Turner rounded the bases, a pair of fans could be seen jumping the fence at Citizens Bank Park, and traversing from right field all the way to left field. One fan even made it into the stands on the opposite side of the field, while his comrade, unfortunately, was apprehended by stadium security.

Television ratings for last weekend’s college football games are out, and they are massive. Well, for two games in particular anyway.
The Deion Sanders-led Colorado Buffaloes took on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a highly anticipated matchup on FOX’s “Big Noon Saturday.” The game mostly lived up to expectations with Colorado pulling away with an easy 36-14 win. And 8.73 million viewers tuned in to see Sanders make his home debut as Colorado head coach, leading to a 4.8 rating.
That’s a huge number for a game not featuring a major SEC program or top ranked team on either side.

Yet, AB is pitching himself as a possible addition to the Steelers’ WR depth chart after the team lost Diontae Johnson in Week 1 (out multiple weeks) to a hamstring issue.

Blue Jays pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu completely froze Nate Lowe on Tuesday night when he dropped in a devastating 63 mph eephus pitch to strike out the Rangers hitter.
Lowe’s facial expressions as he walked back to the dugout were priceless, as the 28-year-old looked totally befuddled by the extreme change of speeds Ryu presented him with. 
Ryu had been mixing speeds all night, and after throwing back-to-back fastballs at 87 mph, the right-hander slowed things all the way down to 63 mph in order to sit Lowe down.
