Are the Minnesota Vikings lucky or good?
Despite finishing the regular season with a 13-4 record, the Minnesota Vikings are mostly an afterthought in the NFC playoffs. The Philadelphia Eagles look like a Super Bowl favorite, the San Francisco 49ers are riding Mr. Irrelevant, Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers barely made the playoffs, Dallas always gets attention as America’s team, Brian Daboll has the New York Giants back in the playoffs, while the Russell Wilson-less Seattle team grabbed the last playoff spot.

Former New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall made it quite clear – the Jets need to get a veteran quarterback this offseason.
And he has just the player in mind – Derek Carr.
The 6x Pro Bowler Marshall appeared on Up & Adams yesterday where he made his case for the Jets to move on from current quarterback Zach Wilson – who had a very rough year.

Troy Aikman took an unprompted shot at Tom Brady’s lack of wheels.
The Bucs play the Cowboys Monday night in the opening round, and all eyes are on Brady to see if he can make some more postseason magic.
Well, while fans are focused on that, Troy Aikman let people know he doesn’t think Brady is athletic at all. In fact, he doesn’t think there’s a more unathtletic passer in the league.
“I kid him about it — he’s the most unathletic quarterback in the game.
While the 2022-23 season has been a rollercoaster ride for the Los Angeles Lakers, there have been some consistent bright spots on the team.

For the second straight season, Lamar Jackson missed the stretch run of the Ravens regular season, and he has officially been ruled out for the team’s playoff opener against the Bengals. Even so, Baltimore still plans to negotiate a long-term contract with the former league MVP in the offseason, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The Bucks star will miss a second straight game with a sore left knee.
Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is expected to miss Saturday’s game against the Heat as he continues to deal with a sore left knee, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Antetokounmpo has been listed as “day-to-day” with a sore knee and already missed a game against Miami on Thursday as a result of the injury. He was considered questionable to play on Saturday prior to Wojnarowski’s report.
Antetokounmpo, a two-time MVP, is in the middle of another spectacular season in Milwaukee.
After an underwhelming regular season, Tampa has a decision to make about its head coach.
Despite an underwhelming performance in the regular season, the Buccaneers plan to retain coach Todd Bowles in 2023, regardless of the result of Monday’s wild-card round playoff game against the Cowboys, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Bowles, 59, posted an 8–9 record in his first season at the helm for the Bucs after taking over for Bruce Arians last spring. Though Tampa never won more than two games in a row, the club narrowly won the NFC South and clinched the No. 4 seed in the NFC playoffs.
