Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler said he’s been dealing with memory loss since his last concussion.
Ekeler, 29, suffered two concussions this season (so far, and hopefully none more), with his latest head injury coming in Week 12’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. The veteran running back landed on IR as a result.
Appearing on 106.7 The Fan this week, Ekeler shared that he’s been having trouble remembering the scene that led to his concussion against the Cowboys.

The NFL suspended Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair for an illegal hit on Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence last Sunday. As Lawrence slid to avoid contact, Al-Shaair targeted the quarterback’s head with his forearm.

And yet, Al-Shaair claims he is the victim; not Trevor Lawrence. During his semi-apology address to Lawrence on Monday, Al-Shaair called the criticism of the hit both “racist” and “Islamophobic.

Vancouver Canucks forward JT Miller took a leave of absence from the team last month, and as it so often does, the mysterious nature of the news got the rumor mill churning.
However, Canucks President Jim Rutherford has had about enough of it.
Miller’s absence was announced around two weeks ago, with the team not providing an explanation as to why he was stepping away.
They didn’t need to release an explanation either. Sure, hockey players are in the public eye, but like anyone they go through situation that are best handled privately.

The hit Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair delivered on Trevor Lawrence knocked the Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback out of Sunday’s game and out of the lineup for at least four weeks.
The Jaguars on Wednesday announced Lawrence will miss at least four games because he’s been placed on injured reserve following the concussion he suffered from the hit.
But the truth of the matter is with only five games remaining in Jacksonville’s season, it’s very likely Lawrence has played his last game of this season.
