The Washington Commanders delivered on the Sunday night primetime stage, beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 23-20, on Wild Card weekend.
The first two games of Sunday’s postseason slate featured one-sided wins, but the clash between the Commanders and Bucs delivered the slugfest fans hoped for.

The schedule for the Divisional Round games of the 2025 NFL Playoffs is set.
While we will not know the participants in one of those games until tomorrow night — when the Minnesota Vikings take on the Los Angeles Rams in a game moved to Glendale, Arizona due to the ongoing wildfires in California — we know when each game will take place next weekend, and what network will be broadcasting each game.

The Lions are the No. 1 seed in the NFC, which means they get a bye through the Wild Card Round. Here’s who they will play in the Divisional Round in the 2025 NFL playoffs.
Sunday 8 p.m. Wild Card update: The Lions will face the Commanders in the Divisional Round after Washington upset the Bucs on Sunday. This marks the first time Detroit and Washington have met in the playoffs since January 2000.

On Sunday, ahead of the Commanders and Buccaneers face-off, New York Knicks guard Josh Hart showed off his Washington fandom with an outrageous hat.
Hart, 29, looked like a bobblehead during his interview but proudly wore his support for Washington on his dome.
