NBA legend and former UConn Huskie Ray Allen was at the NCAA National Championship game to see his alma mater throttle the San Diego Aztecs, 76-59.
After the game, Allen talked about why UConn had become such a powerhouse over the years. According to the former member of the Bucks, SuperSonics, Celtics, and Heat said that a big reason was the lack of distractions in Storrs.

Monday night’s NCAA men’s basketball national championship ratings are in.
The UConn Huskies men’s team victory over San Diego State University drew approximately 14.6 million viewers. Meanwhile, Sunday afternoon’s women’s final drew an astounding 9.9 million viewers, peaking at 12.6 million at one point. That easily shattered its previous high of 5.68 million (since the ESPN era began in 1996).
But the story isn’t that the men defeated the women in the rating; it’s that a relatively bad NCAA men’s final still had more viewers than the NBA Finals from the past three seasons.

Padres star Manny Machado was called out on Tuesday after a pitch clock violation resulted in a third strike in his first at-bat against the Diamondbacks. 
The third baseman was livid with the decision from home plate umpire Ron Kulpa, who proceeded to eject him from the game after a frustrated Machado could be seen arguing the decision.
Padres manager Bob Melvin came out to plead his case alongside Machado, but after an extended and animated conversation, Kulpa sent Melvin packing with an early ejection, too.
