Roughly one year ago, Nick Kurtz signed his first contract with the Athletics after going fourth overall in the 2024 MLB Draft.
On Friday, he became the 20th player, and the first rookie, in MLB history to post a four-homer game. Here are all four:

There aren’t too many players out there who can say they played for two of the most successful college football coaches over the last couple of decades. However, Ohio State safety Caleb Downs is one of them.
Downs chose to commit to Alabama over Ohio State when he came out of high school and spent his first college season becoming a Freshman All-American in Tuscaloosa under Nick Saban. But then, after that year, arguably the greatest coach in college football history retired, and Downs entered the transfer portal, eventually landing in Columbus to play for Ryan Day.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ramiro Enrique came on in the 67th minute and scored two goals, Martín Ojeda added a goal and two assists on Friday night and Orlando City beat Columbus 3-1 to hand the Crew its first home loss of the season.
Orlando (11-6-8) has won two in a row following a four-game unbeaten streak.
Enrique, who replaced Luis Muriel, flicked a header, off an entry played in by Iván Angulo, from the center of the area inside the back post to make it 1-1 in the 76th.

With Bengals’ first-round draft pick Shemar Stewart finally under contract, only one 2025 selection remains unsigned.
Browns running back Quinshon Judkins, the fourth pick in round two, is not under contract. And it’s not about whether he’ll receive a fully-guaranteed contract. The player taken before him did, and the four taken after him did.
This is about the possibility, if not the likelihood, that Judkins will land on paid leave as soon as he signs and shows up, due to a recent arrest for misdemeanor domestic battery.

Scottie Scheffler is on top of the world right now. 
He’s the number one golfer in the world, has a 116-week streak as world number one, won the PGA Championship, then followed it up by winning The Open Championship at Royal Portrush. He won an Olympic gold medal in 2024, and has a chance to lead the United States team to a Ryder Cup win at Bethpage Black in late September. 
None of that though, stops him from being just like us.
A longtime resident of the Dallas area, Scheffler is like many Cowboys fans desperate to see his favorite NFL team win its first Super Bowl since 1996.
