With less than a week left in the regular season, Denver fired its head coach and GM, ending a yearslong cold war, and risking the NBA’s most precious commodity: the prime of three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.
Everyone understood the Cleveland Browns were going to add a veteran quarterback at some point. Everyone understood the club wanted a quarterback that coach Kevin Stefanski was comfortable with and had confidence in, and the vacancy made all the sense in the world for Kirk Cousins.
But nope.
Joe Flacco.
Flacco is filling the spot after the team announced early Friday that he had agreed to terms on a contract. Flacco will sign a one-year deal worth a reported $4 million. ESPN was first to report the contract details.

It nearly seems like a foregone conclusion that Penn State tight end Tyler Warren will be off the board by the time the Denver Broncos go on the clock with the 20th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
Warren is largely considered the best tight end in this year’s class, but not everyone has him ranked as TE1. Some pundits (and perhaps some teams) consider Michigan‘s Colston Loveland to be the top TE, and some experts believe Warren could fall all the way to Denver.

Just a few days before the WNBA Draft, ESPN has received a new WNBA mock draft — its first post-March Madness iteration.
The biggest change between the two mock drafts is the absence of Notre Dame guard Olivia Miles. Miles was widely expected to be the No. 2 pick next season, but instead opted to enter the transfer portal and will be playing at TCU next season.
