To the victor goes the spoils. But there’s still a lot of impressive stuff to be earned by Masters participants who don’t win the green jacket.
In 2025, there were 27 eagles recorded by 21 different players, and each of them received a pair of crystal highball glasses for each eagle. Rory McIlroy, Zach Johnson, Sungjae Im, Maverick McNealy and Patrick Reed had multiple eagles on the week.
Also, there were also six crystal vases handed out for the daily low score (there were twos 66s on Saturday and two more Sunday).

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Bryson DeChambeau believed his game was in good enough shape to win the Masters. He certainly thought he could do it after he leapfrogged Rory McIlroy to take the lead two holes into the final round Sunday.
But perhaps the fact that he hit more golf balls on the range at Augusta National than anyone else in the field — by far — was a sign that all was not right with golf’s quirky, long-hitting technician.
DeChambeau couldn’t hit his irons where he was looking and couldn’t keep pace with the leaders.

Rory McIlroy became emotional when asked about his childhood friend, Harry Diamond.
AUGUSTA, Ga. — Rory McIlroy had not won a major in 11 years before his incredible triumph at Augusta National on Sunday night. But he also had not won a major with his caddy, Harry Diamond, on the bag.
Because of this, McIlroy and Diamond had caught a lot of flak over the years, receiving an onslaught of criticism from fans, pundits, and media alike for their failure to win the biggest of tournaments. Look no further than the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No.

As Rory McIlroy fell to his knees on the 18th green at Augusta National, overcome with emotion and tears already falling down his face, that moment, even if just for a brief time, had nothing to do with any of the 76 shots he hit on Sunday. The double bogey he made on the opening hole wasn’t a thought. Nor was the inexplicable wedge shot he hit into Rae’s Creek on the 13th hole, the five-foot putt he missed on the 72nd hole to win, or even the birdie putt he made seconds earlier on the first playoff hole to win his first green jacket.

On a chaotic Masters Sunday, the Warriors-Clippers face-off delivered a thrilling regular-season finale with major playoff implications.
The Clippers emerged victorious, 124-119, in overtime.
One of the Warriors’ biggest embarrassments was veteran Draymond Green, whose terrible layup attempt, under the basket, in the final moments sunk Golden State.
Green had a clear shot but opted to lean back, hoping to draw a foul.

Jack Nicklaus wasted no time in congratulating Rory McIlroy after his win at the Masters on Sunday – and for becoming only the sixth golfer to win the career grand slam.
Nicklaus, the North Palm Beach resident, called into the CBS’ post-Masters telecast soon after McIlroy, who lives in Jupiter, defeated Justin Rose on the first playoff hole.
“I’m so happy for him. I’m delighted for him,” Nicklaus said. “It will take the world off his shoulders and you’re now going to see a lot more of really good golf out of Rory McIlroy.

A three-game series that started on a good note for Duke’s baseball team turned sour in the last two games.
