Drake should just stop trying to pick sports at this point. The rapper loves nothing more than throwing his support behind a team or fighter, but this weekend it all backfired when he threw his money down on Jake Paul.

On the surface you might not think that this is terrible. Let’s just say that Paul’s fights have been a little questionable up to this point — leading anyone to have healthy skepticism about whether his opponents are giving it their all.

For NBA fans of a certain age, Kobe Bryant’s 81-point performance in 2006 has stood as one of the more untouchable modern-day records. But the mark is looking more and more tangible lately, and may not stand for much longer at the rate that scoring is accelerating in the NBA.

After a career year with the Lions, Williams would remain a valuable fantasy asset if he signed with one of these teams.
The running back position doesn’t have a ton of superstars available on the free agent market, but there are a few names of interest … including Jamaal Williams. He’s coming off a career season, posting 1,066 rushing yards, a Detroit franchise record and NFL-best 17 rushing touchdowns and a solid 225.9 fantasy points.
Williams would likely be best served staying in Detroit, where he’d continue to see a good workload playing behind the injury-prone D’Andre Swift.

LeBron James and Donovan Mitchell were among those in awe of the Blazers star’s performance.
Damian Lillard was on a whole different level for the Trail Blazers on Sunday night, torching the Rockets for 71 points, tying Donovan Mitchell for the highest single-game tally of the NBA season. 
It was an electric performance from Lillard, who was a perfect 14 of 14 from the free throw line and added 13 three-pointers en route to his 71 points. 
In addition to his scoring onslaught, the 32-year-old added six rebounds and six assists, while knocking down 22 of 38 field goal attempts.
