Oregon has officially signed Rivals 5-star WR Jalen Lott.
The Texas legacy and standout two-way playmaker is one of the most explosive prospects in the country.
The Ducks made an early splash in Lott’s recruitment as a freshman, and those connections have continued to evolve and strengthen. 
Lott was bullish on the idea of carving out his own path with the Ducks. Figures like Dan Lanning, Ross Douglas and the entire coaching staff made that even more tangible.
“Being there at Oregon, football is the main thing,” Lott told Rivals of his commitment to Oregon.

Sunday’s Week 14 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars comes with a lot at stake for the Indianapolis Colts.
For starters, the winner of this game takes control of the AFC South division race, holding sole possession of first place. The victor will also have the better division record and hold the head-to-head tie-breaker.
However, according to PFF, it’s not only the division lead that is on the line for the Colts, but their playoff chances could be as well.
With a win over the Jaguars, the Colts’ playoff chances sit at 78%. But a loss, and they plummet to only 34%.

When Terence Crawford blasted WBC president Mauricio Sulaimán Nov. 3, the timing was as notable as the trigger.
Crawford fumed after the WBC stripped him of a championship belt the boxing star won by beating Canelo Alvarez Sept. 13. His transgression: the boxing star failed to pay the WBC $300,000 in sanctioning fees for the fight against Alvarez.
The timing: The friction between Crawford and the WBC, one of boxing’s four sanctioning bodies, comes at a time of potential change as the sport struggles to stay relevant.

You know draft season is really starting to blossom when the great Dane Brugler of The Athletic drops his first mock draft of the season. He did just that on Wednesday and Cincinnati Bengals fans are going to love the player Brugler sent to Cincinnati in the first round.
That player is Ohio State safety Caleb Downs.
Needless to say, the Bengals need talent at a number of positions, particularly on the defensive side of the football. One of those spots is the safety position. Geno Stone and Tycen Anderson are both free agents after the season.
