Rory McIlroy is barely a week and a half from the defining victory of his professional life, and he’s still riding the shock waves and coasting on the glory of a green jacket.
“It’s not every day you get to fulfill one of your lifelong goals and dreams,” he said Wednesday, “and I’ve just really tried to enjoy everything that comes along with that.
Crazier things have happened in the hockey world than Lou Lamoriello potentially joining the Rangers staff.

1. Lou and Rangers boss Jim Dolan are friends dating back decades.
2. Lou loves hockey too much to retire at this point in his life.

Ronnie O’Sullivan made a mockery of his recent period of inactivity by reeling off three centuries in five frames as he completed a 10-4 win over Ali Carter in the first round of the World Snooker Championship in Sheffield.
