This year’s Women’s NCAA Basketball Tournament was the most-watched of all-time and stars like Hailey Van Lith and Caitlin Clark had a lot to do with that viewership. As two of the most electric women’s hoopers in recent history, particularly the latter, their Elite Eight matchup quickly became must-see T.V.
Iowa ultimately beat Louisville 97-83 behind a 47-point performance from Clark, but not without Van Lith putting up 27 of her own. The game was neck-and-neck in the first half until the Hawkeyes pulled away during the third quarter.

Former NFL kicker Jim Turner, a member of the Broncos’ Ring of Fame, has died at age 82, his family announced Monday. The news that he had died due to heart failure with his family by his side Saturday was first reported by KUSA-TV in Denver. 
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Denver Broncos Ring of Fame kicker, Jim Turner,” a statement from the Broncos read. “Retiring as the second-leading scorer in NFL history, Jim was instrumental in helping establish the Broncos’ winning tradition in the 1970s as a key member of our first Super Bowl team.

When Jimmy Butler joined the Heat in 2019, the franchise was in no-man’s land. The dreaded middle. Lost in the woods.
However you want to describe it, Miami had very little direction before Butler joined the team. From 2015 to ’19, the Heat alternated seasons in and out of the playoffs. Dwyane Wade left and came back. Big contracts were handed out to Hassan Whiteside, Dion Waiters and others. The team never quite threatened in the playoffs and never bottomed out, either.
