There is not a clear No. 1 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, but a handful of storylines and names will be worth watching, including LeBron’s oldest son.
Two years ago, Max Kellerman was among the most visible faces at ESPN. He appeared daily alongside Stephen A. Smith on First Take, the most discussed sports program on air.
Today, Kellerman finds his future is up in the air.
ESPN plans to cancel both his daily radio show, Keyshawn, J-Will, and Max, and television show, This Just In.
The decisions leave Kellerman without a home and a salary of around $5 million. The combination makes him uniquely vulnerable as talent layoffs loom in the coming weeks.
Once the top-ranked recruit in the nation, Emoni Bates slipped to 49th in the NBA Draft. Now that’s he’s in the league, he must show he belongs.
If this preview for Sunday’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door seems a little unfinished, that’s because as of 8 p.m. ET Wednesday, when Dynamite was hitting the air, the pay-per-view card itself seemed a little unfinished, seemingly by design. That would change over the following two hours—with more additions on the horizon.
This will be the second iteration of the crossover event between two of the top pro wrestling companies in the world not named WWE, bringing together stars for fresh matchups that many thought they might never see.

Bryan Danielson.
Kazuchika Okada.
Two of the greatest wrestlers in the world, separated by different promotions—and different continents.
Long a dream match, the prospects of the two facing off appeared improbable. Danielson starred for WWE as Daniel Bryan, and the only way he was squaring off against Okada was if WWE lured him away from New Japan Pro-Wrestling. That, clearly, was simply an unrealistic proposition.
Mounting injuries then forced Danielson to retire in 2016. Okada focused his time and energy on redefining brilliance in the ring.
Hiroshi Tanahashi is getting ready for the summer, which he plans on spending as AEW world champion.
One of the most decorated champions in all of wrestling, Tanahashi has worn New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s IWGP heavyweight championship a record eight times. Now he is seeking his first reign as AEW champion. He lost in a match against Jon Moxley last year for the belt, but will get a second chance Sunday at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view against reigning champ MJF.
“I feel very honored to challenge for the AEW title,” says Tanahashi, speaking through a translator.
Taylor Silverman will join Riley Gaines to protest Austin Killips competing in the women’s division of the 2023 USA Cycling Pro Road National Championships Sunday.
Killips — a biological male —has been stealing podium spots and prize money from female athletes since he decided to compete in women’s events last year.
“I hope that UCI and USA Cycling hears us and decides to change the rules that currently allow male athletes like Killips to compete in the women’s division because it’s simply unfair,” Silverman said.
