Despite the PGA Tour LIV Golf split, it’s undeniable that the latter tour possesses some of the best golfers in the game.
Much like the first two majors of the season, the U.S. Open allowed the LIV Golf guys to play in the national Open. There are 15 LIV golfers in 156-man the field this week at L.A. Country Club. A few of those guys could win the U.S. Open, as it is undeniable that tour has some of the best golf talent in the world.
Not all LIV Golf tour players can play in the U.S. Open.

Embattled pitcher Trevor Bauer is facing new accusations which stem from a civil lawsuit filed last year in Arizona.
According to USA Today, another woman has made claims against Bauer saying in court documents that the incident occurred in Arizona in 2020. In her court filings, the woman alleges that Bauer raped her, got her pregnant, and held her at knifepoint.
The woman filed her suit against Bauer last year and is the fourth woman to publically levy allegations of sexual misconduct against the former Cy Young winner.

New Orleans has been heavily involved in trade rumors since reports surfaced that the organization has been attempting to move up into the top three of next week’s NBA draft, with eyes on G League Ignite point guard Scoot Henderson. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported on Get Up Wednesday the possibility that Williamson could be involved in a trade package around the draft.

A bizarre situation is unfolding in the Canadian Football League after an open tryout prompted questions and concerns. It revolves around the Edmonton Elks and dates back to April 29.
Former Texas punter Daniel Trejo, who began his career at Texas Wesleyan in 2017, started all 13 games for the Longhorns last season. He averaged 42 yards on his 45 punts in 2022, dropped 13 punts inside the 20-yard-line, posted a career-long of 61 yards, and exhausted his collegiate eligibility in Austin.
Trejo declared for the NFL Draft following his first and only year with Texas, but was not selected.

Netflix released the first trailer of its newest documentary, Quarterback, on Wednesday with a release date of July 12. The documentary features a behind-the-scenes look at the 2022 NFL season for Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota.
In the trailer, all three quarterbacks appear to be mic’d up during their games and were also followed in their personal, day-to-day lives. The video features Cousins reading to his son while Mahomes is spending some quality time with his daughter and wife as well. 
Despite all playing the same position, each had a very different 2022.
