Shohei Ohtani’s future with the Angels is a hot topic within MLB circles.
The 28-year-old two-way star, who will become an unrestricted free agent after this season, could end up suiting up for a new team in 2024, on what would likely be a record-setting contract. 
Ahead of his impending free agency, The Athletic polled MLB players from 22 different teams, asking them where they think Ohtani will be playing in 2024. 
There was a runaway favorite among the polled players, with more than 57% of the field indicating that the Dodgers are Ohtani’s most likely landing spot.

Oral Roberts was on the wrong end of a balk call during Tuesday’s College World Series elimination game that resulted in a run scored for TCU. There is a lot of debate as to whether the call was warranted.
It went down in the top of the fourth inning. The Horned Frogs had a runners on second and third.
Josh Caravalho, a sophomore with more than 50 innings under his belt in 2023, was on the mound for the Golden Eagles. He was pitching to outfielder Austin Davis with two outs.
The balk was called on his 18th pitch of the afternoon.

The biggest change is that the Flyers are switching their shade of orange. They will go back to the burnt orange they used in the 1980s and ’90s.

Patriots cornerback Jack Jones pleaded not guilty to multiple weapons charges Tuesday in East Boston Municipal Court.
Jones was arrested Friday for possessing two firearms in his luggage while inside Logan International Airport in Boston. Following his arrest, he was charged with two counts of possession of a concealed weapon in a secure area of an airport, possession of ammunition without a Firearm Identification Card, unlawful possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a large-capacity feeding device.
