Calgary Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson is said to be “doing well” after being hospitalized following a scooter accident on Wednesday night.
The Flames released a statement on Thursday morning to give details on the incident.

At approximately 6:00 p.m. ET, Wednesday, February 8 in Detroit, MI, while riding a scooter on his way to dinner, Flames defenceman Rasmus Andersson was struck by a vehicle. Andersson was taken to local hospital for a full battery of tests before being released last night.

The craziest college basketball highlight of the season came from a Division III game in New Jersey on Wednesday night. It was also one of the biggest upsets of the year.
New Jersey City University, an unranked program that entered its game against No. 23 Rowan University at 10-12, was down by four points with 5.2 second remaining. There was enough time on the clock for the Gothic Knights to pull off the improbable comeback, and they had the ball, but it did not look likely. At all.
NJCU inbounded the ball just inside of half court and immediately hit junior forward Ryan Savoy in the corner.

The veteran forward was traded twice in a matter of hours Thursday.
It’s been a whirlwind 12 hours for veteran NBA forward Jae Crowder.
Early Thursday morning, he was a part of the blockbuster trade that sent Kevin Durant from the Nets to the Suns. Now, he’s been traded again, this time to the Bucks for five second-round draft picks, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. A third team involved in the deal, the Pacers, acquired center Serge Ibaka and forward Jordan Nwora from Milwaukee. Indiana also will receive two second-round picks.

Los Angeles reportedly agreed to another deal after the blockbuster three-team trade to send out Russell Westbrook.
The Lakers aren’t done making moves ahead of Thursday’s 3 p.m. ET NBA trade deadline. After the big three-team deal with the Jazz and Timberwolves that saw them send out Russell Westbrook and acquire D’Angelo Russell, Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt, they now have an agreement with the Nuggets centered on Thomas Bryant.

The Philadelphia Eagles are a run-dominant team that rushed for an average of 147.6 rushing yards per game (fifth) this year during the regular season. They also ran in a league-leading 32 rushing TDs. The next closest team was the Dallas Cowboys (24).
The Eagles have continued to run the ball in the postseason, averaging a massive 208 rushing yards per game with seven rushing TDs across two postseason games.
