Ja Morant is in the endgame.
Ja Morant was suspended 25 games by the National Basketball Association on Friday. The league has made it clear that Ja’s behavior is “destructive” and the union for the players has stated that the suspension was “excessive”. Perhaps there will be an appeal. Perhaps there won’t. Maybe Ja has grounds to win such a process with an independent arbitrator.

Valor Christian High School was well represented Sunday when Wyndham Clark won his first major championship at the U.S. Open and earned praise from another famous alum. Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan have gone from being arguably the greatest duo in NBA history to rivals over the last few years, specifically since the release of ‘The Last Dance.’ The rivalry, however, appears to be a one-way street manned by Pippen, and the legendary Bill Walton doesn’t understand it.
Pippen didn’t appreciate the way he was portrayed in ‘The Last Dance’ and has piggybacked off that unfortunate experience ever since.
A North Carolina fishing tournament ended in controversy over the weekend as a group that caught a 619-pound blue marlin was disqualified after a review.
The boat named Sensation reeled in the fish as part of the 65th Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament in Morehead City. The tournament organizers on Saturday showed a photo of the crew on its Facebook page with the gigantic catch but warned the group could be in violation of one of the rules.

Here’s our latest NBA mock draft.
There are a few things we know for sure about the 2023 NBA Draft. Victor Wembanyama is going No. 1 overall to the San Antonio Spurs. The New Orleans Pelicans want G League Ignite point guard Scoot Henderson, but they would have to trade into the top-three to get him. Damian Lillard would probably like the Portland Trail Blazers to trade their No. 3 overall pick for a veteran star, but the front office can’t make a shortsighted deal when it has a chance to add a premier young talent.

Will Cooper Kupp be ready to play Week 1? Kupp should be ready for the start of the season because there was a chance he could have returned toward the end of last season had the Rams been in playoff contention.
Rickie Fowler began Sunday’s final round at the U.S. Open tied atop the leaderboard with Wyndham Clark and had the masses pulling for him to get the job done and win his first major championship. Eighteen holes later he found himself in a tie for fifth, still searching for his first win in over four years.
There is no other way to put it, Fowler played badly during Sunday’s final round. The ball striking was not there and the putter wasn’t scorching hot like it was for the opening 54 holes.

Albon’s seventh-place finish in the Canadian Grand Prix wa a massive result for Williams
All season long, and even dating back to pre-season Formula 1 testing, you got the sense a day like this was coming for Alex Albon and Williams.
It finally came for Albon and the team on Sunday in the Canadian Grand Prix.
After advancing to Q3 on Sunday, Albon started the Grand Prix in P9, and pushed up to P8 when George Russell collided with the wall on Lap 12.
Aaron, welcome to the Big Apple.
It’s a bit different than Green Bay. For starters, the population of New York City is roughly 8.36 million people larger, so you might blend in a bit more. And this New Yorker—who grew up 100 miles outside NYC, to be exact, and who spent plenty of time in the five boroughs—has a few pieces of advice before getting into where to be and what to do before training camp.
For starters, avoid Times Square. It’s a disaster.
