Eric Carmona, creator of the “We Are TuAnon” account, died in a motorcycle crash on June 1 in Murrieta, California, according to the Murietta Police Department. The 30-year-old and former Navy veteran was known for wearing a dolphin mask in his viral videos that commended Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and exposed the negative takes from media pundits and rival fanbases.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will go through with their initial decision to honor a group on Friday night that has been the center of controversy over the past several weeks over what critics have called the organization’s anti-Catholic messaging.  
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, which features performers in drag wearing traditional religious habits, will be honored with a community award for their “lifesaving work” during the team’s 10th annual Pride Night celebration at Dodger Stadium.

The sister of Boston Celtics’ big man Al Horford is calling out the apparent double standard between men and women who support their siblings in sports.
Anna reposted a video Tuesday that showed Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic celebrating with his older brothers, Nemanja and Strahinja, after Denver won Game 5 to close out the NBA Finals.
“Huh… I don’t see anyone calling them clout chasing sluts for publicly supporting their brother… Funny how that works,” she wrote.

San Diego State University has sent a written notification to the Mountain West that it plans on leaving the conference, and the school asked the conference to delay the official deadline to withdraw, Sports Illustrated’s Ross Dellenger reports.
According to Dellenger, SDSU has until June 30 to officially let the Mountain West know that it is leaving the conference. If the school makes the deadline, the exit fee will be around $17 million, whereas the fee doubles if it is late. 
SDSU would like the deadline moved to July and wants to discuss the conference lowering its exit fee.

The National Basketball Players Association issued a firm statement in support of Ja Morant on Friday on the heels of the Grizzlies star receiving a 25-game suspension for holding a gun on Instagram Live in May.
NBPA executive director Tamika Tremaglio labeled the discipline imposed on Morant as “excessive” and “inappropriate,” citing specifically the NBA’s requirement of the 23-year-old to fulfill unstated conditions before he can return.
Tremaglio also declared the NBPA’s intent to work with Morant going forward as he deals with the discipline.
