Just when you thought you’d seen it all in college football, UNLV quarterback Matt Sluka decided that because of promises that weren’t being upheld off-the-field, he would no longer play for the team this season.
In a stunning announcement late Tuesday night on the West Coast, the Rebels quarterback took to social media to announce that he would be taking a redshirt season. This comes after UNLV started the season 3-0, and was making waves under Barry Odom in the early portion of the 2024 season.

Sterger, a former host for the New York Jets, accused Favre of sending her inappropriate and explicit text messages during his lone season in New York in 2008.
