Novak Djokovic took his 10th Australian Open title and during his celebration, things got a bit uncomfortable in the broadcast booth between John McEnroe and Chris Fowler.
Just one year earlier, Djokovic had been deported from Australia after opting not to get a COVID vaccine.
That was just one moment of adversity the Serbian star faced in 2022. Former tennis star and current broadcaster John McEnroe was bringing those moments up after Djokovic’s win, only for Fowler to come flying in with a conversational yield sign.

Josh Johnson is a fourth-string legend.
The San Francisco 49ers entered the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles down to their third-string quarterback. After losing both Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo to injury, they had to turn to Brock Purdy — the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, who led the team to a perfect 7-0 record as a starter.
However, Purdy himself went down in the first quarter against the Eagles. Enter Josh Johnson.

The Eagles pass rusher is wreaking havoc on the 49ers offense.
It’s been a career-best year for Philadelphia Eagles outside linebacker Haason Reddick, and in his first career NFC Championship Game he has already made his presence felt just in the first quarter.
Reddick strip-sacked Brock Purdy on the 49ers’ opening drive on a play that was initially ruled as an incomplete pass. Nick Sirianni challenged the call and it was rightfully overturned to a fumble with a clear Eagles recovery.

49ers quarterback Brock Purdy suffered a right elbow injury on San Francisco’s sixth offensive snap and is questionable to return.
It’s an NFL Sunday, which means referees are in the spotlight. And, like clockwork, they’ve already massively impacted the NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles faced a fourth-and-3 from the edge of field goal range (49ers’ 35 yard-line). Philadelphia head coach Nick Sirianni is typically on the more aggressive side and he showed no fear early in the NFC Championship.
Rather than attempt a field goal, the Eagles decided to go for it. Initially, quarterback Jalen Hurts couldn’t find anyone open.
The NFL playoffs continue Sunday with the 49ers battling the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game.
The rookie quarterback took a hard hit on San Francisco’s first possession of the game.
The 49ers have thrived as one of the best teams in the NFL this season despite a revolving door at quarterback. Now, that depth will be further tested once more.
San Francisco rookie quarterback Brock Purdy left Sunday’s NFC championship game against the Eagles after taking a big hit on his right arm by Haason Reddick during his team’s first possession. After the play was initially ruled an incomplete pass, replay overturned the call to a fumble, with Philadelphia recovering.
