Caleb Odom spent the weekend visiting the University of Florida. It resulted in a hilarious recruiting mishap that went extremely viral across the college football world.
Odom, a four-star tight end in the Class of 2024, stands 6-foot-4, 220 pounds. He will have his pick of the litter in terms of where to play on the next level, but Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama and Florida are in hot pursuit. Miami, LSU, Louisville, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas A&M and UCF are among his other offers.

Several University of Connecticut students who were arrested for vandalizing the campus following the school’s victory in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament championship game have been expelled.
On April 3, after UConn beat San Diego State to capture the fifth men’s basketball national championship in program history, 16 students were hospitalized and 15 were initially arrested in connection to celebrations on the Storrs campus. A few more arrests took place in subsequent weeks.

As the Saints continue offseason workouts and minicamp down in New Orleans, the players took some time away from the facility to grow as teammates and develop the off-field chemistry. To do so, they hit the bayou for a very Louisiana-style team-building activity.
The tradition started way back in 2014 and has been rolling ever since. Saints players drive out to the swamp and get after some redfish. This year, they partnered with Premier Bowfishing Charters.

She won the Mizuho Americas Open in her LPGA Tour debut, becoming the first woman since 1951 to do so.
John Sterling has been calling Yankees games for over three decades, providing countless viral moments over that span. On Saturday night, just as the Yankees were about to beat the Red Sox, Sterling provided another priceless moment.
With Boston down by a run with two out in the top of the ninth inning, Red Sox designated hitter Justin Turner fouled off a 3-2 pitch from Clay Holmes to keep the at-bat alive. The ball carried backward all the way to the press box and hit Sterling in the head.
“The 3-2, a pop foul back here,” Sterling said on the Yankees radio network call.
Wake Forest will play for a College World Series bid on Sunday afternoon against Alabama. The Demon Deacons won the first game of a three-game Super Regional on Saturday to put themselves in the driver’s seat for Game Two.
