The Heat will be without guard Tyler Herro when they tip off Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Nuggets on Thursday night, but it may not be long until Miami has the key contributor back in the rotation. 
After Heat coach Erik Spoelstra ruled Herro out for Game 1 on Wednesday, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that there’s a “possibility” the 23-year-old could return as soon as Game 2 on Sunday night.

Angel Reese has quickly become one of the biggest, if not the biggest name in women’s basketball. The former five-star forward helped lead LSU to a national championship in her first year with the program and did so in boisterous fashion.
As the clock wound down on a blowout win over Iowa, Reese turned to Caitlin Clark and hit her with John Cena’s famous “you can’t see me” hand gesture. It was vicious.

College football will look a bit different when Week 0 comes around in late August. New rules have been approved aimed at shortening games and the latest wave of conference realignment will take effect this year with four new faces in the Big 12 and more movement on the horizon.
What remains the same are the sport’s top teams. Georgia has the best odds to win the College Football Playoff, followed by Alabama and Ohio State — those three programs have combined to win six of nine championships in the CFP era.

Raiders coach Josh McDaniels did his best to shut down any worries or concerns Thursday that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo would be unable to play during the 2023 season.
Last week, Garoppolo did not join the Raiders for their offseason training activities. At the same time, McDaniels shared that Las Vegas was taking it slow with Garoppolo after the 31-year-old signal-caller underwent surgery on his left foot directly after signing his three-year contract worth $67.5 million in March, according to The Athletic.
