This season, the Rose Bowl will be a College Football Playoff quarterfinal matchup set for New Year’s Day. Although we don’t know yet which teams will play, it is never too early to start your travel planning.
The Rose Bowl, a beautiful and historic stadium, is located in Pasadena, California. One of the great things about the Rose Bowl is the scenic location of the California mountains and (hopefully) sunny weather.
Mookie Betts sure knows how to play mind games.
At the MLB Awards last night (which were held in Las Vegas, NV), the Los Angeles Dodgers superstar was accepting his All MLB outfield award in front of a packed house. Some of the players in attendance have not yet won a World Series, while Betts has won three (2018, 2020, and 2024). When he got on stage, Chris Young asked what Betts’ advice would be to younger players wanting to get to the top of the MLB mountain themselves.
His answer, while refreshingly honest and punchy, forecasted a dark future for any team not wearing Dodger blue.

Rory McIlroy will win a sixth Order of Merit title, but he craves something more at this week’s DP World Tour Championship.
Rory McIlroy has had a rollercoaster of a season, featuring plenty more lows than highs.
His loss at Pinehurst No. 2, where he missed two putts inside of five feet on holes 16 and 18, immediately comes to mind. So does his missed cut at The Open, where the blustery Ayrshire conditions wreaked havoc on his mind and game.
