A year before turning Jalen Hurts into the $255 million man, the Eagles reportedly considered swinging a blockbuster trade that would’ve prevented the breakout 2022 season that led to the star quarterback’s massive extension.
During a recent appearance on ESPN radio affiliate Seattle Sports, Sports Illustrated’s Greg Bishop addressed an interesting rumor concerning a nixed deal that would’ve brought Broncos star Russell Wilson, who was then with the Seahawks, to Philadelphia.

In the midst of its unbridled stretch of dominance in English football, it’s almost easy to forget Manchester City ran into a surprising roadblock on its way to its fifth Premier League title in the past six years.

According to some coaches, it should end in a different way.
“It would help all of us and our high school coaches that, after Aug. 1 of their senior year, they can sign a national letter of intent any day they want with any school,” Auburn coach Hugh Freeze says.
The idea of a sign-when-you-receive-a-letter-of-intent model is not new.
