Billy Horschel had a no good, very bad day during Thursday’s opening round of the Memorial. He walked off the course after hitting the ball 84 times and finds himself in second to last place having only beaten Chad Ramey on day one, who posted an 88.
A PGA Tour player shooting anything in the 80s is always alarming, but what’s so eye-opening about Horschel’s 84 is that he’s the defending champion this week.

Veteran Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso is off to a dream start this season. In his first year with Aston Martin, Alonso has finished fourth or better in each of the six races to date, securing podiums in five of those six races. He is coming off his best finish of the year, a P2 in Monaco, and has pushed Aston Martin to second in the Constructors’ standings.
Now he heads to Barcelona for the Spanish Grand Prix, his home race.

Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend, Erica Herman, is not pleased with last month’s ruling that their dispute will be handled in private arbitration. She’s now asked the court to reconsider the ruling, and make their legal battle public.
Herman accused Woods of sexual harassment in a court filing in March and sued both the golfer and the trust that owns his $54 million Florida mansion. She is seeking $30 million from the trust amid the unspecified allegations of sexual harassment.
