As the Phillies try to bring a title to one of baseball’s most passionate cities, they are fueled by a star who has been in the headlines since he was 15.

Just how excited are the New York Mets after their come from behind victory over the Milwaukee Brewers to advance to the National League Division Series?
The Washington Capitals made the postseason last year but made a quick first-round exit. That means there was plenty of time for golfing, and it looks like defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk was hitting the links during the offseason.
Earlier this week, Caps veteran TJ Oshie posted a video of van Riemsdyk lining up a putt at what sure looks to be a team breakfast in a hotel ballroom, perhaps on their trip to Columbus for a preseason meeting with the Blue Jackets (which they won 3-2).
This was far from a gimme.
Breaking down Cleveland’s biggest question, best- and worst-case scenarios, and fantasy outlook.
Keanu Reeves is one of the coolest customers in Hollywood. He’s an action star, he plays bass in a band, used to be one heck of a hockey goalie, and in his free time, he whips around on motorcycles.
So what could he possibly add to his cool guy resume?
How about an appearance as a racecar driver?
Yeah, that should do it.
Reeves will participate in races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, during this weekend’s Indy 8 Hour which is part of the Intercontinental GT Challenge schedule.

Jared Goff isn’t overrated or underrated; he’s just the perfect QB for Lions,
If you can’t win quarterback of the week after making history on Monday Night Football, there’s literally nothing left to do to get recognition. And Jared Goff knows a lot about what it’s like to not get credit for wins, something that’s usually very hard to do as a quarterback, let alone one who was the No. 1 pick in the draft.
Goff could be the first No. 1 pick quarterback in history who has avoided being overrated.
Karma.
There are just some moments in sports that result in pure karmic perfection. On Thursday night Pete Alonso of the Mets was on the right side of that cosmic energy.
Everything looked bleak for New York’s season. Down 2-0 in the 8th inning of their Wild Card game against the Brewers, with seemingly nothing going their way, Alonso dropped a routine popup in foul territory at the worst possible time.
This Pete Alonso misplay would’ve been INFAMOUS if Diaz didn’t get out of the inning pic.twitter.
Here we go, another weekend of college football. I’ll be honest, I have no idea how this Saturday will top what we witnessed between Georgia and Alabama, along with that crazy game in Miami.
But, even though this isn’t the strongest slate of games in terms of ranked matchups, that doesn’t mean we won’t have a few upsets along the way.
Missouri is going to be tested, Miami is heading West to California, Ohio State is hosting Iowa, and don’t forget about Ole Miss traveling to South Carolina.
FIU will have some incredibly smooth uniforms for the team’s game against Sam Houston State.
The Panthers unveiled uniforms for the October 22nd matchup that are inspired by the famous TV show “Miami Vice.”
The program is leaning into the culture of the area just like last season, and the white uniforms featuring pink and powder blue are smooth as butter.
Check out the reveal video below, and let me know what you think at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.
I love everything about these uniforms. Stuff like this is what makes college football so fun.
Jake Paul took to his social media to congratulate and show his support for Caitlin Clark as the Indiana Fever star won this year’s WNBA Rookie of the Year award.
However, never one to shy away from expressing his opinions, Paul had a few things to say about the ONE media member out of 67 that did not put Clark as their No. 1 choice for ROTY.
