Sauce Gardner’s getting his head in the game … and the textbooks.
The University of Cincinnati product is heading back to school, realizing he’s got unfinished business after a standout rookie year in the NFL.
Sauce tweeted his intentions to return to school to earn his college degree. Makes sense for a cerebral player like Gardner, who accomplished the near-impossible in his first year in the pros by being named to the First-Team All-Pro team. He became the first Jets rook in 62 years to earn an All-Pro nod.

As popular as he was with fans during his playing days, Sammy Sosa hasn’t exactly been welcomed by the Chicago Cubs since he retired.
Sosa spent the bulk of his career at Wrigley Field playing for the Cubs between 1992 and 2004. He also provided some of the most memorable moments for the team through the ’90s and early ’00s.
The team recently held its annual fan convention, the Cubs Convention. As you might expect there were questions about why the Sosa wasn’t being embraced.

Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder hired a bank to explore the sale of the franchise in November. Now, two months later, the offers coming in are reportedly lower than previously thought.
In addition, one expected high-profile bidder — Jeff Bezos — has not submitted a formal offer.
Multiple reports in November said that the Amazon founder was set to make a combined bid with Jay-Z. That could still happen, but has not yet.
According to Front Office Sports, Bezos did not place a bid for the Commanders ahead of last month’s deadline.
