The Clippers hit the Suns with a total eclipse in the first quarter on Tuesday night.
Every game matters right now for the Phoenix Suns, who had a 46-32 record entering play on Tuesday night, barely hanging on to sixth place in the West and the ensuing spot just outside of the NBA play-in tournament that seeding would grant them.

Alabama Senator and ex-college football coach Tommy Tuberville, an advocate of keeping men out of women’s sports, joined Jonathan Hutton and Chad Withrow on OutKick Hot Mic to discuss Dawn Staley’s comments on trans athletes.
The South Carolina Gamecocks coach told OutKick’s Dan Zaksheske over the weekend that she would gladly welcome a man onto the women’s team in the name of inclusivity. Staley’s comments prompted many reactions.

The Bucks star suffered a lower body injury against the Celtics and did not return
The Milwaukee Bucks and their fans are hoping to hear good news shortly on the status of star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Late in the third quarter of Tuesday night’s game against the Boston Celtics Antetokounmpo started up the court after a Boston basket, when he suddenly crumpled to the floor. Trainers came out to tend to him, and he did not return to the game.

At a time when his team could least afford it, Minnesota Timberwolves center Naz Reid threw a dirty elbow at an opponent and was booted from Tuesday’s game against the Washington Wizards. He exited the game after eight minutes of action.
Washington guard Johnny Davis caught Reid’s right elbow. The players boxed out under the rim before the 6-foot-9, 264-lb. Reid got chippy and threw a shot at Davis.
The NBA officials called Reid’s cheap shot unnecessarily aggressive. They ejected Reid from the contest, recording just eight minutes of action and three points before his exit.
