Late in the third quarter of Tuesday night’s game against the Boston Celtics Antetokounmpo started up the court after a Boston basket, when he suddenly crumpled to the floor. Trainers came out to tend to him, and he did not return to the game.

At a time when his team could least afford it, Minnesota Timberwolves center Naz Reid threw a dirty elbow at an opponent and was booted from Tuesday’s game against the Washington Wizards. He exited the game after eight minutes of action.
Washington guard Johnny Davis caught Reid’s right elbow. The players boxed out under the rim before the 6-foot-9, 264-lb. Reid got chippy and threw a shot at Davis.
The NBA officials called Reid’s cheap shot unnecessarily aggressive. They ejected Reid from the contest, recording just eight minutes of action and three points before his exit.
