18-year-old Dwayne Coleman can lift an absurd amount of weight.
On Saturday, the senior from Salmen High School set the Louisiana state record for the heaviest squat at the LHSAA state championships. Coleman himself weighs 462 pounds and plays defensive tackle for his high school’s football team, so you know that this guy has the potential to move a ton of matter.
But how much would you guess he squatted? 600 pounds?
Nope, more.
700? Keep going.
800? Close, but no cigar for you.
Coleman squatted 900 pounds to set the record for all high schoolers in the history of The Pelican State.

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – Maybe I need to do another “hit job” on LSU women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey, so she knows what one actually is.
READ: Kim Mulkey Doesn’t Understand How Media Works
During a pointed statement at an NCAA Tournament press conference Saturday, Mulkey accused Washington Post writer Kent Babb of writing a “hit job” on LSU football coach Brian Kelly two years ago as a reason why she has continually turned down interview requests from Babb.
College football looks a whole lot different now than it did when Bob Stoops roamed the sidelines at Oklahoma. And he’s not sure that’s a good thing.
Appearing on 92.3 The Fan’s Afternoon Drive on Wednesday, Stoops discussed the state of college football in the modern era of the transfer portal and million-dollar NIL deals.
“It’s not very good. I don’t think it’s very good for anybody,” Stoops said. “Is it sustainable? In my eyes, it’s not.”
Stoops is hardly the first person to express this complaint.
ESPN is all-in on sports betting. Not only is the one-time “Worldwide Leader in Sports” delivering gambling advice, they want you to risk your money on their platform, ESPN Bet. On Sunday, though, host Rece Davis and analyst Erin Dolan probably took that a bit too far.
Look, sports betting is exactly what it says it is: gambling. Which means, of course, that you cannot be sure you’re going to win. Everyone understands that. Rece Davis, by all accounts a very good guy, understands this. Erin Dolan, a relative newcomer in the sports betting advice space, knows this.

Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley have found their new least favorite game.
During a studio break during last night’s March Madness coverage, the TNT crew decided to play a game called “Name the Mascot,” hosted by Ernie Johnson Jr. The game was pretty self-explanatory; Clark Kellogg showed them a picture of a mascot of a team in the tournament, and Smith and Barkley had to guess it. They got bonus points if they could state the name of the mascot.
Under most circumstances, this game would certainly get competitive.
DJ Burns Jr. scored 24 points, including a go-ahead putback that ignited a 9-0 run in overtime, and 11th-seeded North Carolina State outlasted 14th-seeded Oakland 79-73 in the second round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday night in Pittsburgh.
Third-seeded Creighton scored the first 15 points of the second overtime to finally put away No. 11 seed Oregon and reach the Sweet 16.
