Just like with Atlanta in the NL East, it’s all about what Los Angeles can do in October instead of the regular season.
While the NL Central may be wide open, there are no such delusions of grandeur to be had in the NL West. That means that it’s probably going to be another long season in Denver for the Colorado Rockies, who are very likely going to spend another season in the cellar.

Some think owner Woody Johnson is squatting on the No. 2 overall pick from 2021.
Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has a lot of time on his hands now that he’s retired. Evidently, WWE star “The Miz” knows exactly what Kelce should do with it.
The wrestler, who’s real name is Michael Gregory Mizanin, thinks that Kelce should join him in the WWE world and become a wrestler.
Evidently, Mizanin knew the exact moment when he thought Kelce had potential to become a superstar wrestler. When a shirtless Kelce jumped out of the VIP box at the Kansas City Chiefs Buffalo Bills game, he was impressed by the center’s athleticism.

However, it turns out not everyone is happy with March Madness fans descending on Sin City.

When Max Verstappen’s RB20 suffered a failure early in the Australian Grand Prix, it opened the door for one of Red Bull’s rivals to secure a tremendous result. When the checkered flag flew it was Ferrari who had taken advantage, as the Scuderia notched a one-two finish with Carlos Sainz Jr. and Charles Leclerc up front.
Meanwhile Mercedes was still standing in the doorway.

The defending champion Rangers and the relentless Astros dominate the division’s focus, but keep an eye on Seattle.
The 2023 American League season came down to a Lone Star State Showdown in the Championship Series. Amazingly, the Houston Astros were back in the LCS for the seventh year in a row, one shy of the record held by the ‘90s Atlanta Braves. They haven’t missed baseball’s Final Four since, well, the last time the Texas Rangers made the playoffs before 2023.
Making an All-NBA team as a rookie is rare, but Victor Wembanyama is putting together a resume that will be hard for voters to ignore.
