Mock drafts are a key component of draft day preparation. They give you an idea of which players will be available when and how your team will turn out depending on the path you take.
But when it comes time for your actual draft, it’s unlikely that everything falls into place the way it did for you in your 17th mock draft. That’s why you need a plan in place, and a flexible one at that, to set you and your team up for success this season.
That’s what this draft strategy series is all about: Team-building.

Lovable 7’6” big man Tacko Fall is currently attempting to make an NBA comeback, but video of his unorthodox free throw form has fans clowning the former Celtics center.

But his herky-jerky form at the charity stripe in Las Vegas has gone viral, with some fans calling it the worst shooting form they’ve ever seen.
Nets GM Sean Marks is remaining optimistic when it comes to the future of Ben Simmons.
Speaking to reporters after Brooklyn’s Summer League win over the Knicks on Sunday, Marks was asked if he believes Simmons will ever return to his All-Star form displayed early in his career.
Marks indicated that he’s hopeful Simmons can return to past form, citing the former No. 1 pick’s age and health.
“Reasonably, the hope is that he returns to that level of play,” said Marks of Simmons. “If he was 35 years old, I wouldn’t honestly be able to tell you that.
If Day 8 is any indication, the second week of Wimbledon is going to be dynamite.
Attending any professional sporting event in the United States these days is expensive. Tickets, and the third-party fees you have to pay, get consistently higher as does the cost of food and beverage. One aspect that seems to be easily forgotten is the price of parking, but nobody will forget what it costs for Monday night’s Home Run Derby in Seattle.
Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times headed down to T-Mobile Park early on Monday and snapped a photo of one event parking area that’s charging $120 to park. One hundred and twenty.
