The Houston Texans won one of the craziest NFL games of the season last Sunday. Quarterback C.J. Stroud set an NFL rookie passing record with 470 yards. He also threw five touchdowns, including the game-winner with under ten seconds left. That overshadowed backup running back and special teamer Dare Ogunbowale assuming kicking duties.
Texans kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn suffered an injury that subsequently landed him on injured reserve. But, Houston needed a kicker for the remainder of the game. Enter: Dare Ogunbowale. He handled kickoff duties for the duration of the contest.

Villegas is now a 5-time PGA Tour winner after overcoming all the adversity to win the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
Camilo Villegas is a PGA Tour winner again. Coming off his incredible finish last week in Mexico, where he tied for second place with Matt Kuchar, Villegas was the last man standing at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
The Columbian fired off a bogey-free 65 on Sunday to finish at 24-under for the tournament, beating Alex Noren by two strokes.
Penn State has fired offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich after the Nittany Lions recorded another depressing offensive performance in the team’s 24-15 loss to Michigan on Saturday afternoon, according to Jon Sauber of the Centre Daily Times.
Yurcich’s departure comes after Penn State registered its second bleak performance offensively against a top three college football team in the last four weeks. Yurcich, who was in his third season at Penn State, was hired to lead the Nittany Lions’ offense in ’21 under Kirk Ciarrocca.

Vikings defensive back Camryn Bynum’s wish for his wife to watch him play in the NFL came true on Sunday.
Bynum’s wife Lalaine struggled to get a Visa from the Philippines since he was drafted in 2021. After the Vikings’ Monday night win on Oct. 23, Bynum used the most of his television time in his post-game interview to talk about the situation with his wife and ask for any help to bring her to the United States.
After the video went viral, Minnesota senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith reached out to Bynum and said they would help him bring Lalaine to watch him play.

Mac Jones and the Patriots had a tough day in Europe on Sunday.
Facing off against the Colts, the quarterback was held to 170 yards passing as New England managed just six points over 60 painful minutes of football.
Jones had a chance to lead the Patriots back from the brink late in the game, but threw a dreadful interception that all but ended New England’s hopes of making a comeback.
The third-year pro was benched in favor of Bailey Zappe for the Patriots’ final drive.
The New York Jets had the option to sign Carson Wentz in free agency, but chose to stick with Zach Wilson instead.
After suffering a 27-6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers last Monday (in which Wilson looked disastrous), questions once again arose about Wilson’s ability to lead the Jets. Wentz’s agents reached out to New York after the game to see if the team from the Big Apple needed any quarterback help.

The Cleveland Browns sport the NFL’s best defense. The unit is elite and helping the team win games. Unfortunately, the offense often doesn’t do its part. The biggest problem is the rotating cast of quarterbacks. Deshaun Watson is the starter, but has missed several games.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson started one game and P.J. Walker started two others. Sure, starting backup quarterbacks isn’t ideal. But, it’s not like Watson has played great in his six starts. He ranks 22nd among NFL QBs according to PFF.

Max Homa made his South African debut at the Nedbank Golf Challenge this week and he conquered the Gary Player Country Club. He fired off a final round 66 to finish at 19-under, beating Nicolai Højgaard by four shots and Thorbjørn Olesen by five.
