Mark McGwire wants baseball fans to understand that there was a lot of hard work behind taking all the steroids and human growth hormone during his playing days.
“I can personally tell you, from me, knowing me… I didn’t need to do it and I apologize for it. But there was a lot of f***ing hard work that went behind all the shi* that people wanna give me to do what I did,” McGwire, who hit 583 homers, told A.J. Pierzynski on his “Foul Territory” show.

Noah Gragson was placed under indefinite suspension by NASCAR on Saturday. His future in the sport is unclear at this time.
Legacy Motor Club announced on Thursday morning that Gragson asked to be released from his contract. The team appeared to grant him his release, but did not formally state that he has been let go.

Legacy is not releasing Gragson on its own accord. Gragson requested that the team cut him loose.
Lakers star big man Anthony Davis inked a three-year, $186 million max contract extension earlier this week, which will pay him $270 million guaranteed over the life of his full deal through the 2028 season, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Davis is not the first member of the Lakers rotation to get paid this offseason, as teammate Austin Reaves signed a four-year, $56 million contract to return to Los Angeles after emerging as a core member of the rotation last season.
