Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel made NBC’s cameraman work for their footage during Sunday Night Football in Week 2.
Entering halftime with a 17-3 lead, McDaniel concluded his on-field interview and was preparing to trot into the away locker room at the Patriots’ Gillette Stadium.
When McDaniel noticed the cameraman tracking him for the standard “head coach at halftime” shot, he decided to have some fun and broke into a sprint toward the tunnel, leaving the videographer no choice but to follow suit and run to catch up.

Theegala handled his business as the Southern California native finally got over the hump and won on the PGA Tour at the Fortinet Championship.
Sahith Theegala has finally done it. In his 74th career start, the Southern California native captured his first PGA Tour victory. It happened to come in his home state at the Fortinet Championship, no less.
He fired off a final round 68 to finish at 21-under and win by two strokes ahead of S.H. Kim. The 25-year-old didn’t have his best stuff Sunday, but it was enough to take home the trophy.

The heat surrounding the Jets after Sunday’s rough loss to the Cowboys appeared to be enough to influence star cornerback Sauce Gardner to take a break from social media.
Gardner, whose Jets lost 30–10, raised eyebrows online by deleting his account on X (formerly Twitter) in the aftermath of the Week 2 loss.
While the exact reason for his decision is currently unclear, one of Gardner’s last posts indicates it may have been a response to the criticism he and his team faced over the performance of Ceedee Lamb.

There was no love lost between NFC West rivals.
Sunday’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers was chippy from start to finish as both 1-0 teams looked for an early lead in the division.
Week’s 2 unlikely hero in the game was a 49ers fan who stepped in to break up a fight on the field between players.
Niners wideout Deebo Samuel started beefing with Rams cornerback Derion Kendrick. At one point, Samuel shoved Kendrick, nearly leading to a bigger scuffle.

Los Angeles is fed up with Chargers head coach Brandon Staley after starting the season 0-2.
All six Chargers fans… (kidding)
LA ended was on the wrong side of the thriller on Sunday, losing to the backsliding Tennessee Titans in overtime, 27-24.
Chargers fans were left wondering: if you’re hailed as a defensive guru of a head coach, how do you surrender 27 points to Tennessee? Not since Week 11 last season have the Titans scored more than 22 points.
The Chargers defense surrendered 4.1 yards per carry and gave up chunk plays in crucial drives by the identity-less Titans.

Watching the 49ers struggle for a few quarters against the Rams served as a reminder that division rivals tend to play in close games regardless of who has the better roster.
The Bengals have the better roster compared to the Ravens—feel free to debate me on that one—but not many are surprised about Baltimore beating its AFC North rival on the road in Week 2.
In the early window of games, there were more reminders than learning lessons. Bills quarterback Josh Allen shook off a poor Week 1 performance by delivering a clean game in the victory against the Raiders.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love had a moment to forget during the team’s Week 2 loss against the Falcons.
While attempting to pick up short yardage with a QB sneak, Love seemed to be bracing his legs for the run up the middle but didn’t receive the ball. He then lost his balance, causing him to slowly fall forward into the offensive line.
The Packers were assessed a five-yard penalty on the play, which ended their hopes of converting on fourth down.
The incident occurred during a key moment in the fourth quarter, at which point Green Bay was leading, 24-22.
