The New York Rangers pulled off a second blockbuster trade in February, acquiring Patrick Kane from the Chicago Blackhawks. Looking for tickets to his debut at Madison Square Garden? You might have to delay that mortgage payment.
Prior to trading for Kane, the Rangers acquired Vladamir Tarasenko from the St. Louis Blues in mid-February. That trade seemingly took them out of the Patrick Kane sweepstakes. Except, it didn’t.
New York faces the Philadelphia Flyers on the road on Wednesday night, but Patrick Kane will not play.

Carter has reportedly left the combine after allegations of his role in a fatal car accident.
Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter has been projected as one of the top players in the 2023 NFL Draft all season, and a possible candidate for No. 1 overall pick. However, that could all change with news breaking on Wednesday morning that a warrant is out for Carter’s arrest in Athens stemming for his role in a January car accident which left a Georgia staffer and player dead, with two others injured.

Plus, we look at some potential moves that could be made before Friday’s 3 p.m. ET deadline.
The NHL trade deadline isn’t until Friday at 3 p.m. ET, but the market is already heating up.
The dealing got started early when the Islanders traded for Canucks captain Bo Horvat on Jan. 30. The Blues made two major trades shortly thereafter, sending Vladimir Tarasenko to the Rangers on Feb. 9 and Ryan O’Reilly to the Maple Leafs on Feb. 17.
But the trade market has really picked up in the past few days and promises to remain active until the curtain closes Friday afternoon.

The incident killed two members of the Bulldogs’ football program.
There is an arrest warrant out for Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter in connection to a fatal January crash that killed two members of the Bulldogs’ football program, according to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.
Carter, who was in attendance at the NFL combine Tuesday, is charged with reckless driving and racing. The charges are misdemeanors, the police department told Sports Illustrated.

Ask any Philadelphia Eagles fan about Super Bowl LVII and they will immediately bring up two things.

The referees screwed them over by calling a holding penalty on cornerback James Bradberry.
What the hell was going on with the field?

Well, they’re not going to get too far with their first argument. It was a penalty, even Bradberry admitted so. Maybe switch the argument to whether it should’ve been called at that moment of the game. But that’s for an argument for another day.

Projected top five NFL draft pick Jalen Carter of the national championship Georgia football team may have been racing with the speeding car in which Georgia player Devin Willock and recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy crashed and died on Jan. 15 near campus in Athens, Georgia.
Carter will be arrested for reckless driving and racing, the Athens-Clarke County police said Wednesday. Both charges are misdemeanors.

If the Cardinals trade their star receiver, he’d be quite productive with one of these five teams.
Wide receiver has become the dominant position in all of fantasy football, as young players like Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase and CeeDee Lamb (to name a few) are lighting up the stat sheets. Unfortunately, NFL teams looking to make a major splash at the position will find it difficult to accomplish as the free agent market is a bit weak heading into the 2023 offseason. With that said, making a big splash trade these days can help fill a void.
