The 2023-24 NFL season kick-off is just one week away! OutKick is unveiling its team-by-team preview series. Over the past three weeks, we covered the AFC West and NFC West, the AFC North and NFC North and the AFC South and the NFC South. This week, we’ve turned our attention to the final two divisions. And that concludes with last year’s NFC East — and NFC conference — champion, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Philadelphia Eagles 2022-23 Record: 14-3

Daniil Medvedev punched his ticket to the third round of the U.S. Open on Thursday night after a four-set victory over Christopher O’Connell. While the match inside the lines lacked a bit of drama, the Russian getting into with fans at Louis Armstrong Stadium certainly caught everyone’s attention.
Medvedev is no stranger to complaining and making snide comments to fans, but after failing to close out the match on multiple occasions in the third set, he officially reached his boiling point with the crowd.

Khalil Mack chatted with a few teammates, as he made his way toward the Chargers’ locker room after an afternoon practice in June.
Perhaps the seven-time Pro Bowl edge rusher was sharing football advice with his inexperienced defensive teammates, or maybe it was a discussion about the latest season of Bel-Air, the show Mack was watching when he got the call about being traded for a second time in his career, going from the Bears to the Chargers in 2022.
Whatever Mack was chatting about before being stopped on that day in Costa Mesa, Calif.

The Matt Rhule era at Nebraska got off to a rough start Thursday night against Minnesota.
The Cornhuskers dropped the first game of the season 13-10 to the Gophers, and the final sequence of events as the game winded down has to be seen to be believed.
With just under five minutes left and up 10-3, Nebraska fumbled the ball and it was recovered by Minnesota.

That eventually led to one of the most absurd catches you’ll see all season.

The Wisconsin Badgers dropped the first hype video of the season, and it has nothing to do with the opener against Buffalo.
Wisconsin will officially usher in a new era of football Saturday afternoon against Buffalo, and fans can’t wait. The time has come for fans to wash out the taste of three straight disappointing seasons. Luke Fickell will lead the way, and people couldn’t be more fired up.
We all know you can’t have college football without some great hype videos. Electric hype content is one of the reasons college football stands apart.

The contract negotiations between the Buccaneers and star wide receiver Mike Evans have reportedly reached an impasse, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
Stroud indicates that it’s “likely” Evans’s last season in Tampa Bay following the stoppage in contract talks between the 30-year-old and the franchise where he’s played his entire NFL career.
Stroud reports that Evans was believed to be seeking a new contract that was similar in value to the three-year, $81 million deal Cooper Kupp signed with the Rams in June of 2022.

Without many true centers on USA’s roster, Banchero has been shoehorned in despite playing very little center in his NBA career so far
One of my favorite aspects of FIBA play is getting to see familiar faces in unfamiliar roles. My favorite case of this among Team USA is Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero playing much of his time at the center spot.
