Heading into the Masters Champions dinner, many were expecting drama to unfold with six LIV golfers sharing a table with many who have publically bashed anything and everything involved with the Saudi-backed circuit. Some circled Phil Mickelson as a potential source of controversy, but nothing came to fruition.
Fuzzy Zoller, who won his green jacket in 1979, was in attendance on Tuesday night and explained that there were no fireworks and that Phil Mickelson completely kept to himself the entire evening.

Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud is one of two QBs vying to be the first pick in the 2023 NFL draft, but what makes him so good?
The biggest news of the process leading up to the 2023 NFL Draft was the trade by the Carolina Panthers with the Chicago Bears for the first overall pick. It was automatically assumed that the Panthers jumped from ninth overall to ensure their choice of quarterbacks.
And while the Panthers could pick any of the top four quarterbacks, realistically there are two options for them: Ohio State’s C.J.

LSU star Angel Reese has threatened to not show up to the White House after Jill Biden floated also inviting Iowa.
The Tigers and Reese smacked around Iowa in the women’s title game Sunday, and it was by far and away the most-hyped championship game in women’s basketball history.
Reese taunting Caitlin Clark is still in the news days later. However, that’s not the only controversial headline that came from the game.
First Lady Jill Biden suggested Iowa might also get an invite to the White House after the 102-85 blowout loss.
Deion Sanders wants Colorado players to know hard work is the tool that gets you where you want to go in life.
Sanders has been on a tear since taking over the Buffaloes, and he’s offered fans an incredible inside look at how he runs the program in Boulder.
Before even coaching a game, Sanders has made it crystal clear what his expectations are for his team. Now, he’s made it clear you don’t have a shot in life of succeeding if you don’t work hard.

It’s mock draft season, which also means it’s guessing season.
The 2023 NFL draft might be one of the most intriguing drafts in recent memory because two, or maybe three, quarterbacks are in the running of being the No. 1 pick come April 27 in Kansas City. Beyond the quarterbacks, there are plenty of unknowns at various positions, and that might force teams to prioritize scheme fits over physical traits.
With free agency behind us, and with the help of scouting reports from the draft experts, here’s my best guess at how the first-round of the draft will play out.
Anthony Richardson will reportedly visit at least half a dozen different NFL franchises.
The former Florida quarterback is expected to be one of the first passers off the board in the first round of the NFL Draft April 27.
The dual-threat QB has plenty of raw talent and incredibly physical tools, but still needs a lot of polishing before he’s ready to lead a franchise.

Now, the picture of teams interested is starting to become clearer.
“We did so many things wrong,” 76ers coach Doc Rivers said in summarizing his team’s win over the rival Celtics on Tuesday night, “but what we did right was Joel Embiid.

The NBA play-in tournament is around the corner. Here’s how it works.
There’s no question the NBA play-in tournament has been a successful addition to the league’s postseason format. After experimenting with the idea during the bubble in 2020, the NBA instituted the play-in tournament to determine the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds in each conference ahead of the 2021 playoffs. The play-in tournament has given us a few memorable moments in first few years, and this season could be the best one yet with so much parity throughout the standings.
Joel Embiid’s performance on Tuesday night against the Celtics only strengthened the dominant big man’s grip on the 2023 NBA MVP award.
Embiid led the way scoring a game-high 52 points in the 76ers‘ 103–101 victory. The seventh-year center finished with a double-double, grabbing 13 rebounds and dishing out six assists.
The explosive outing was good enough for Philadelphia head coach Doc Rivers to declare there is doubt who the best player in the league is this season.
“The MVP race is over,” Rivers said at the podium after the game.
